Kylie Jenner Makeup!

Hi guys!

So recently, especially on YouTube a lot of Kylie Jenner tutorials have been floating around and I really wanted to have a go at it. I am not a fan of the Kardashians, I don't watch them nor do I follow them but they always appear glamorous so I tried this look today.

The lipliner I used is called 'Soar' by Mac and is one of the lipliners that Kylie Jenner uses. I'm not sure what the other one is. But this liner is really nice and helps to plump out the lips. I felt very glam in this makeup even though it is 99% matte!

Here is a full list of products that I used:

Mac painterly paintpot
Smashbox Full Exposure Palette
Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner - pencil form - great dupe for the Benefit They're Real!
Maybelline The Falsies False Volum' Express
Urban Decay Rockstar Eyeliner
By Terry Terrybly Densiliss Foundation
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer - Custard
Nars Palm Beach Multiple Bronzer
MAC Soar Lipliner

What do you guys think?

Face of the Day!

You know those days when you wake up feeling gross and horrible, those days call for some nice makeup to make me feel better! That's probably everyday actually but today I felt like making a bit more of an effort even though I'll probably be home all day.

My mum bought the new Hourglass Ambient Blush palette and she wanted me to try it out so I went for the middle one. It's very subtle, yet glowy - I really like it so far! The perks of having a beauty obsessed mother - more so than me!

On my eyes I picked out the Naked 3 palette because I haven't used it in a while. I used the shade Trick all over the lids and Nooner in the outer corners - I forgot how gorgeous the shade Trick is! I used the Urban Decay eyeliner in Rockstar and Maybelline the Falsies mascara for extra definition.

On my lips I used the Revlon Lip Butter in Macaroon. I really like this just as a quick swipe of colour, very easy and feels nice on the lips too.

My Eid Day - Eid Ul Adha 2014!

Hey guys!

I celebrated Eid Ul Adha on Saturday this year. I did intend to have this post up yesterday but unfortunately I was really sick yesterday and was asleep for most of the day. I'm almost recovered today and to past time I thought I would write up my blog post!

It was a pretty good day! I filmed how i did my makeup and other random clips from the day so check out my video here if you'd like to see that!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWI_r3HoAoI&feature=youtu.be

We started the day off with our usual breakfast of 'Semiya' - I love this stuff, it's so good! It may look a little weird if you have never tried it before but it's this amazing sweet pasta and wow I wish I could have it right now! My mum makes it the best!

After breakfast we hung around the house for a few hours, I started editing my video - the clips that I had already filmed. Then at around lunch time, we went round to my uncles house. As usual, the food was amazing! I've been really good with my healthy eating but as it was Eid I decided to go all out!! :P We had rice, chicken, kebabs. My brother made two delicious chocolate orange cakes and I made a tiramisu which everyone seemed to love as well!

After lunch it was just the case of hanging around the house. My cousins and I did the Bean Boozled Challenge, which is all in my video - I did cut out a bit because it got too long!
I got a lipgloss making set for my cousins and I helped them make those.. After some more scoffing of my uncles yummy lamingtons, we went home. I carried on editing. We did plan on going out to bowling which was all booked, we were also going to go to the cinema but everyone was too tired - yep, relaxing and eating all day is very tiring!!! There are so many films I really want to see at the moment though - Gone Girl, Before I Go To Sleep and Taken 3!!!

We ended up picking up a pizza and eating that at home!

Glamorous evening makeup for Autumn / Fall!

Hi guys!

Sorry for neglecting the blog recently.. I've really been in to getting to know how to use editing software such as iMovie and I really enjoy making videos. Sadly, I don't have that much time to make them and blog at the same time, but I'm trying my best!

Today after college I felt like filming. It was very spontaneous.. I didn't even know what makeup look I was doing and I just ended up with this very heavy makeup, both on the eyes and the lips! I normally would not wear this much makeup even for an event or occasion but today I just felt like playing around!

I hope you like it! Here is the link to the video and below are the products I used:

Autumn Clothing Haul!

Hi guys!

Today is pretty exciting because I have uploaded my first 'talking' video! Over the past month or two I have been buying warmer clothes in preparation for the coming Autumn and Winter months.. However the weather has been pretty amazing and all the sweaters and jacket I have bought have not been put to use yet!

I've just taken pictures of everything I didn't do close ups of in the video!
Here is the link for the video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSGLEASRbeg&feature=youtu.be I hope you enjoy. Let me know what you think!

I'll start with my favourite thing which is this AMAZING pair of shoes from New Look, I'm so so so happy with them! I love the zip detail, the height of the wedge and the laces. They are also very comfortable. £29.99 well spent!

This shirt I got from H&M! I love the colour and the studs. I also got £10 off! Happy times!

I also got this random headband from River Island. I wear it around the house to keep my hair out the way and also as alternative to a bonnet cap underneath my scarf.

From Topshop, I got these cute earrings. I was actually wearing these around town before I saw myself in the mirror with one missing! So embarrassing and I don't know how long I was walking for with one earring in... I bought them again because I love them so much!

Dark purple New Look faux leather jacket with silver hardware.... Love!

I'm really sorry these pictures aren't great but I have little time and was in a rush!

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed the video!

My everyday makeup look for college + video!

Hi guys!

Recently I feel like I have been stuck in a makeup rut and I find myself gravitating towards the  same products, so this is the  perfect chance to share with you my everyday makeup routine. It literally takes me less than 10 minutes, when I was filming it the clip was only 8 minutes long so I even surprised myself!

Check out my video here to see how I do my every day makeup, I also did a little OOTD!

Products I use:

On my face, I start with the Zelens Daily Defence Sunscreen, SPF 30. So moisturising I don't need to use a moisturiser! I love this stuff and have almost run out... :(
After my sunscreen I use my usual Nars Creamy Concealer in the shade Custard. As you might be able to tell from the video, annoyingly the lid and applicator have detached from each other :( But I still love the product inside and this goes under my eyes and across any redness.

Then I set the makeup with the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder 06.. My concealer is usually creased and disappeared after a couple hours so I bought this to increase the staying power. So far so good!

Across my cheeks for a rosy glow I use the Mac Supercontinental blusher..

On my eyes I do my staple winged eyeliner using the Loreal Superliner Black Crystals, not my favourite but I'm using it everyday until it runs out so I can buy a new eyeliner!
Then I just slap on mascara to me ol' lashes for added black-ness and thickness and volume and you get the point!

For my lips I like to use the MAC Full for You plush glass which I mention a lot here, it stays on for ages! And it's a light neutral pink, perfect for everyday. The texture takes a bit of getting used to but now I love it!

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed the video and post!

Making my first YouTube video!

Hey guys!

Some exciting news... I uploaded a YouTube video.. It's been a long time coming I think. Ever since I've started watching YouTube videos - specifically makeup videos its always been something I've wanted to do but I've never had the guts to! Whenever I'm home alone or I used to do this... I used to film myself doing my makeup or a favourites video but I never uploaded it or even edited.

However, yesterday after I finished work I was in the mood to film for some odd reason! I wanted to have a play around with iMovie  because I am possibly thinking of going in to film making and such. So I popped on my camera and filmed myself doing my makeup! I was very lucky because my camera managed to stay in focus the entire time! It doesn't have a flip screen so it's harder to tell.

But this being said, I'm not serious about becoming a YouTuber, I don't think my videos will make it that far - it would be cool if they did - but I'm staying focused on my blog because it's like my little project but I thought YouTube would be a good way to branch out and develop further. I may be making videos to correspond with blog posts so it's easier for you all out there reading to understand what I'm doing if it's a recipe or a DIY.

I'm not sure how regularly I will be posting either... It depends on college work - obviously and unfortunately I have to keep that my main priority.

If you would like to check out the video you can click the link below. You will probably be able to tell it's not the best when it comes to editing, my first proper time using iMovie and I sat there for 2 hours in frustration working it out! Got there in the end though... Sort of.... The sound is a little messed up but hopefully I can improve on this in the future

Any feedback is much appreciated!
